The first weeks of the war in Ukraine. Activities of the Peace and Good Foundation
From the first days of the war, the "Peace and Good" foundation has been trying to be useful and provide assistance to those who decided to evacuate from dangerous cities of Ukraine.
At the Kyiv Central Railway Station, our volunteers set up a humanitarian headquarters, where you could get medical help, information, as well as drink tea or coffee, and take a hot lunch for free. Many people, waiting for evacuation trains, spent hours and even days inside the walls of the station, so taking care of them was a priority task of our team. On March 20, 2022, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, visited the station. We suggest watching a video report on the work of our volunteers in March, the visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and the awarding of Ukrzaliznytsia employees.
