“Peace and Kindness” Charity Foundation is launching a fundraising campaign to purchase and equip a medical bus. Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, many healthcare facilities across the country have been damaged or completely destroyed. There is an urgent need for a mobile medical center that can function not only as a vehicle for evacuating the wounded to hospitals but also as a fully operational hospital on wheels.
These medical buses are already in use in many countries worldwide and have proven invaluable in emergencies, saving lives of those in dire need of immediate medical care. The medical bus will be equipped with an electric lift for boarding passengers with severe injuries, five intensive care beds with all necessary equipment, and seating for those with minor injuries. The bus’s technical capabilities allow for 48 hours of autonomous life support during continuous transportation over distances of up to 2,000 kilometers, enabling the medical team to carry out rescue missions throughout Ukraine.
