The cottage town for displaced persons “Peace and Kindness 1”

Due to the war in Ukraine, many people have lost their homes and are currently in difficult circumstances, unable to return home. For these families, the “Peace and Kindness” charity foundation, in collaboration with partners, has developed a project to build a cottage town located in the picturesque suburbs of Kyiv, specifically within the Makaryv Hromada.

The modern cottage-style houses feature convenient layouts, are built according to the latest standards using thermal and energy-efficient materials, and are fully equipped for comfortable living (furniture, plumbing, lighting).

The plan includes constructing 144 houses on an area of over 60,000 square meters, which will accommodate 450 residents. The project also includes mini-football and basketball courts and an infrastructure facility. The cost per square meter is estimated at 33,600 UAH, with the total building area covering 11,178.96 square meters. Thus, the estimated cost of the project (as of October 20, 2022) is 375,613,056 UAH.

We urge everyone who can to contribute, as every donation is important in this great and noble cause. Let’s rebuild Ukraine together and take care of those who have lost everything due to the dark cloud of war.
