Volunteers of the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “For Peace and Kindness”, who have been actively helping the Ukrainian military and IDPs since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, have delivered another batch of aid to the Defence Forces for the second time in a week. The general list of items includes food, special medical equipment and gear for sappers and rescuers.
“We try to fulfil the requests of our military to the best of our ability. But we always strive to help not only with technical equipment, finding drones or cars, but also to take care of proper nutrition and hygiene, taking into account the needs that come to us from various military units, and we succeed,” said Oleksandr Tsverkovych, Vice President of the Peace and Good Foundation.
According to the benefactors, in just one day, 4 pallets of pasta, 2985 cans of stew, 8 tonnes of flour, 749 bottles and 5607 cans of sweet drinks, 34 medical stretchers, 35 fire hoses, 17 bulletproof vests, etc. were delivered to the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defence.
The Foundation handed over 35 boxes of ham, 1400 cans of stew, antiseptics, blankets, tactical suits, first aid kits, etc. to the Georgian National Legion, which recently recruited 560 new recruits.
The National Guard medics received 14 medical stretchers, 10 first aid kits, ankle braces, catheters, syringes, diapers, antiseptics, bandages, plasters, thermal film and more.
“We received bulletproof vests, hygiene products, medicines, medicines, stretchers and food. In general, we received a lot of things, it’s hard to list everything, but everything is extremely necessary for our medical unit. It’s great that there are organisations like this that support our army in a significant way,” says a member of the National Guard of Ukraine. “Our soldiers are now confronting the aggressor on all fronts and holding the line. That is why we are sincerely grateful to the benefactors.”
The soldiers of the separate Special Forces battalion received 11 medical stretchers for evacuation, 6 sets of firefighting clothing, mats, sleeping bags, food, utensils and hygiene products.
