Exhibition of antiquities, “Ukraine – from the past to the present”
On 28 June, on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, an exhibition of antiquities entitled “Ukraine – from the past to the present” was held in Kyiv.
Artefacts from different eras found on the territory of our country were presented on the first floor of Grand Step business centre.
The exhibits included tools used by our ancestors as far back as 1 million years BC, weapons of the famous Cossacks, bophons (postcards) of the legendary UPA soldiers, jewellery that was relevant in the times of Kyivan Rus and household items.
A special feature was the photographs depicting the activities of volunteers during the war in 2022.
The opening ceremony also featured folk songs performed by the @kalynafolk ensemble, including the well-known and beloved “Chervona Kalyna” and “How Can I Not Love You, My Kyiv”..
Each of us writes our own history, and together we create a new history of a free and independent Ukraine!
Glory to the Nation!
