The first weeks of the war in Ukraine. Activities of the Peace and Kindness Foundation
Since the first days of the war, the Peace and Kindness Foundation has been trying to be useful and provide assistance to those who decided to evacuate from the dangerous cities of Ukraine.
At the Kyiv Central Railway Station, our volunteers set up a humanitarian headquarters where people could receive medical care, information, tea or coffee, and a free hot lunch. Many people spent hours and even days inside the station waiting for evacuation trains, so taking care of them was a priority for our team. On 20.03.2022, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal visited the station. We invite you to watch a video report about the work of our volunteers in March, the visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and the awarding of Ukrzaliznytsia employees.
