The first days of winter have arrived, and it is forecasted to be harsh due to the ongoing war in our country.
Despite all the trials Ukraine is facing, we will endure!
Due to recent events and power supply issues, there is a significant need for heating devices and generators for social institutions housing and rehabilitating children and displaced families. Without heating and light in low temperatures, rooms cool down quickly, making it impossible to stay there. Children are wrapped in blankets and multiple layers of clothing to avoid illness. Parents are spending their last funds to acquire even minimal means of autonomous heating or hot meals. Elderly people, unable to care for themselves, are forced to stay in cold rooms for hours or even days, waiting for light and warmth. The situation is truly critical, and immediate action is needed.
We plan to assist five institutions. To do this, we need 5 generators (8kW-60kW) and 27 heaters or thermal accumulators.
The required amount is $105,000.
